CBSE 10th Result 2018 – CBSE going to announce the result of 10th class board CBSE at the end of May 2018. It will be announced in the online mode. This year, the exam of the 10th class CBSE board was held from 5 March, 2018 to 4 April, 2018. In this year 17,11,597 students had appeared for the CBSE 10 class exam.

CBSE Board 10th Result – How to Calculate CGPA

Here are some steps to calculating CGPA of students as follows –

Add your grade points in the main five subjects, and then divide it by 5.

i.e. If your five subjects grade points are –

Subject 1: 7 Points
Subject 2: 9 Points
Subject 3: 8 Points
Subject 4: 9 Points
Subject 5: 9 Points

Step 1: Calculation of grade points 7+9+8+9+9=42
Step 2: Divide by 5
42/5=8.4

Thus, CGPA is 8.4

Calculating % from CGPA

For the convert, your CGPA in percentage just multiply CGPA by 9.5
i.e. 8.4 CGPA is multiplied by 9.5
thus, 8.4 x 9.5 = 79.8%
So this is the percentage
